CiN 2011 – Alice in Wonderland

November 11, 2011 in Events, News by Student Uni-bot

As part of Children in need 2011, the Students’ Union would like to invite you ALL to a massive tea party with the mad hatter and all the gang. Like in the film the tea party will be filled with utter madness and as many cakes as you could possibly eat. As this is for charity we ask for any donation you are able to give and we have many tricks up our sleeve for the day….The WHOLE of the Students Union will be dressed up as the Alice in Wonderland characters and you’re welcome to join in too, so you’d be more bonkers then the mad hatter not to attend! The event will be happening from 12 until 2 in the Debut Cafe Quad, on the 18th November 2011.

See you there!

Clubs And Societies Update – September 2011

September 27, 2011 in News, Societies by Student Uni-bot

Hi,

I’m Arron,

I have been clubs and societies officer for about 1 and half years now. Throughout this time I have set up a successful clubs and society schedule, wrote a whole new constitution to get more people involved in societies easier and we have revamped the way in which we approach you. This year we are looking to set up a huge range of societies and clubs that have a wide range of interests and huge range of topics. Please feel free to contact me personally or drop in to the office, we really do need your ideas and we have all resources at our disposal for your use. If you’re planning to go to university a great thing to put on your personal statement to show that you do things outside of just education and uni’s love it.
